I have two ladies in my life...

First one is Espina, a 1959 Mason 30 sloop. I am currently tarting her up for sale. And sailing her as no one is buying right now.

The second is Sabre Dance, a 1979 Roberts Offshore 38. On the hard, and needing the shaftlog replaced and thru-hulls changed. Sandblasting of the hull is next.

Hey, AK Pirate, have you ever seen this movie: http://www.teachwithmovies.org/guide...-DVDcover.jpg? Isn't that one of their subs out there in the middle distance?

I don't know. I'll have to contact our governor. She's the expert up here on spotting the Russians.

Your wallet feels suspiciously light... and you are considering buying stock in West Marine to help recoup some of that lifted weight...

; -)

And we have a Cal28 and a Ranger 23...

It makes you want to spend money to make her look pretty. Get a second and you feel like you're cheating on one when you spend money on the other.

With more than one, you're also likely to find only lint in your wallet.

We have a Morgan Out Island 41 and a Catalina 25.

Re: Your Boat

Annabel Lee, my 1977 32' Cheoy Lee Trawler. I used to sail a lovely little gaff-rigged catboat, but the husband isn't a sailor. Once our daughter (my crew) went off to college I realized if I wanted to move up and cruise, it was either lose the sails or get a divorce. They say marriage is all about compromise, right?
