Bristol 24: A little chunk of a boat built to a financial bottom-line and thus needing careful scrutiny by potential buyers for areas where either the manufacturer or previous owners may have been tempted to cut corners. Slack bilged and fairly full-keeled with six-foot headroom, she accommodates a couple for reasonable periods of time and rides comfortably for such a small boat -- but with a 50% ballast ratio will carry more than her fair-share of canvas without sailing on her ear. We’re in the process of a fairly comprehensive but pleasurable refitting, although on this size of boat there are few truly onerous projects…

We have a new boat , well as of a few months ago. 1986 Com-Pac 27, about as big as I would ever care to trailer. We sure get the looks going down the road.
