Hello Jack - You seem to know what you are talking about and I have a question similar to the post "What is the best monohaul liveaboard boat...." I understand your comments about it depending on a whole host of issues but here's mine, hopefully more specific. I'm looking for a boat for my wife and I to retire on probably in Greece where we would be cruising. The trouble is we are used to fairly spacious accommodation and most boats (even the larger ones) are so chopped up into staterooms you end up with a series of what we would call closets. We just want something that's nice and roomy and only has one stateroom, a nice big one. If friends come to visit they can damn well check in to the Holiday Inn and come for a day sail. It should be a motor sailer to help with fuel bills but, most important, lots of room to move around in. Can you point me in any direction?
