Van De Stadt 8m

Any opinions out there? Looking at one...like the looks of it...interior is, to say the best, funky...but it looks like one hell of a boat. Just not much info out there about them. It's a 1972, btw

Be good to know which one/model it is.. he did a lot of good small boat designs for a lot of manufacturers..

It appears to be the 8 meter and has a bronze plaque with Van de Stadt 1972 on it on the rear of the cockpit so I assume this is one they built rather than one manufactured by another company using their design. Interesting boat...just enough headroom for me...the bones seem to be good, but the interior has been modified in a way that suggests someone did some serious single handed cruising in it and modified it accordingly. Thank you for any feedback you can come up with.
