Northern 25 - Any Experience with this Boat ?

found one in good condition at low price, making arrangements to pick it up on monday. exept for the outboard hanging off the tramson she looks like a better boat then the hughes 25?
your opinions pleas!

This is a Sparkman & Stevens design which sails rather nicely. They were built in Ajax, Ontario by Northern Yachts. I believe they also produced a 29 and briefly, 33 footer.

My dad bought one new in the early 70's and we sailed her for many years. I don't recall any specific flaws, and she managed to take a family of 4 for some nice cruises around the great lakes.
