Any recommendations out there for a buyers surveyor in Connecticut?

Re: Connecticut Marine Surveyor

Buddy Hitchcock in Essex did my 37 Dickerson. I thought he did a good job.

He's also surveying my brothers Regulator 28 purchase

CT is a big space. You don't want to pay for someone to drive from Stamford to Stonington round trip.

What general part of CT is the boat located?

Try telling that to a Texan 8-)

I for one would rather pay time and travel on a good one than settle for a more local also-ran.

But between Bridgeport / New Haven and Newport should be dozens of fine professionals.

Maybe best to just ask around the local marinas and yards?

Connecticut Marine Surveyor

Barnaby Blatch is in Mystic. And he's utterly useless.

Well, use him if you are selling, not if you are buying, hehe.

Re: Connecticut Marine Surveyor

I used Adrian Johnson of Johnson marine services out of west mystic. Did a great job on my beneteau 423....... and came highly recommended. He even went back two days later to redo the deck as it had rained the morning of the survey and just wanted to verify all that he found..... no additional charge. His number is 800.707.8866 / 860.572.8866.

Good luck
Greg
