best way to sell a steel vessel

In this super hot market how would you go about about selling a beautiful steel ketch. I am bouncing the ideas back and forth and am curious as to opinions. I have a fantastic steel ketch (that has had millions invested in her) and I am ready for a new project. I just don't quite know how to go about selling such a beautiful yacht. Lovely boat for sure (if the pix are current) but would likely take a full time crew to keep her up to that standard. Good luck with the sale.

You find a broker to advertise it, properly value it, and deal with all of the tire kickers

Perhaps sail her to Annapolis for the boat show and/or find a broker (Annapolis would be a great place, probably) where there may be a broker with extensive steel boat experience.

Mexico is a bit far if you truly want to sell her.

Europeans, especially the Dutch, seem to like steel boats better than others. Moving the boat there might help. Photos showing bigger spaces and fewer tchotchkes help buyers better imagine them "their way".

The Yacht is an hour south of San Diego.... our border has never been closed so it would be a great weekend trip to come see her and enjoy our fabulous "Guadalupe Valley wine route"

A broker will expose the boat to the most people. One with a good web site and advertises in major yacht magazines.

She is a beauty. We had a similar version in the 70 but fiberglass.

1st step should be establishing your asking price. A survey or at least a suggested price from a few brokers might give you an idea what to ask.
