Hello "Latecomer", I'm interested but I've limited time, plus your departure is soon, it's already late November. I'm surprised there's not more replies to your post at this point. I'm in the "IWIWR" (I Wish I Was Retired) category, but sadly I am not retired (yet). I'll send CV via PM just so you have it, but unfortunately I would not be free to be on board the whole journey, not that it doesn't sound great, but I could make my arrangements to join you for a segment depending on our respective timing working out.

Where in Florida for departure to which check-in port in Bahamas? I can offer advice for the crossing depending on where and when.
"Local Knowledge" Gulf stream is just about cranked up to 8 knots or better for the winter; not the 2.8 given most places as the summertime speed. And how far out it starts follows the 90ft depth line.
