I’m a 58 year old guy living in St Pete, FL and together with my wife, own an Island Packet 485. We’ve been sailing our boat for almost 2 years and are planning to start our cruising adventures when my wife retires in March or April of 2023.

I have the ASA 101, 103, 104 and 114 certifications and approximately 6 years of sailing experience which has included sailing the Sea of Cortez and crewing a Lagoon 440 from Croatia to Sicily as part of a delivery. I’d like to build my sailing resume and gain experience and I’m particularly looking for offshore, longer passage crewing opportunities.

I’m easy to get long with, physically fit, not a big drinker and happy to pay my own way/contribute as necessary. Also happy to answer any other questions you may have.

I'm planning a passage by the end of March on a gulfstar 44 motor sailor ketch rig from Miami Florida to Cape May New Jersey. Any interest in coming along? I will be providing food and drinks for the voyage within reason of course.
