Thumbs up US Eastern Coast from 24th Jan onward (boarding anywhere, Florida to Maine)

I have been casually travelling Central America , since finishing travels in Peru and Colombia. Have occasional sailing experience over the years in Australia, NZ and South Africa but not very much, so I did 7 days saling and skipper license in Croatia last summer.

I am 45 year old man. I'd describe my nationality as "Earthling" though originally Scottish, grew up in NZ and South Africa, then lived many other places since. I recently sold up my life in Slovenia to travel and sail. I've travelled extensively by foot, motorbike, car, RV and plane, now only want to be on the ocean.

I had planned to buy a Neel trimaran but suffered a financial disaster in 2021 so now I am just looking to join someone else as a crew member on their boat; to be on the water and gain more experience.

Not too worried about destination, but I am about to be in Georgia, US, from 23rd January in the hope of finding someone that needs crew, whether sailing up and down the coast, heading for Europe or Africa or the Caribean....I'm easy.

Just putting feelers out to see if there are any options.

Multi-telented, useful-person. I am a decent cook, and a petrol-head/gear-head who has built a few custom V8 and turbo cars, bikes, and even a house-bus (basically, I am handy and competent).

An ex-IT engineer (solutions specialist) but I also studied motor-mechanics and electrical which I applied to my hobbies. Have done custom bodywork and fiberglassing too, as well as home renovation (tiling, joinery, flooring etc), so I am confident to put my hand to most things.

I am pretty chill and easy going. I am outgoing , but I am becoming less extroverted the older I get, and prefer serenity and nature than loudness and parties (I used to be a DJ for about 10 years as a side-thing, maybe it made me sick of party life; or maybe it is just age). Grew up in a small town in Scotland and New Zealand, so could be that too; back to it.

If that sounds like someone you would not get sick of, then consider me if you are looking for crew.....I can also cook prety well and am very clean & tidy, a thorough cleaner and happy to go overboard to brush/scrape the hull.

I'm looking for someone to help me move a Beneteau 361 from Annapolis to Atlantic City. Dates for departure are best between dates of April 13 through April 19. With good conditions should take 4 days.

I'm planning a passage by the end of March on a gulfstar 44 motor sailor ketch rig from Miami Florida to Cape May New Jersey. Any interest in coming along? I will be providing food and drinks for the voyage within reason of course.
