Delivery trip Singapore to America

As a delivery, what would be the fastest and preferred route for this trip?

If you have to ask I hope you’re not the one making the delivery

America is a big place. Delivery to Los Angeles or New York (i.e., to which coast)?

America? Somewhere between Alaska and Tierra Del Fuego? Destination would affect the answer.

Stu, that still only covers the left half There's also the Tierra del Fuego to Halifax side, and both are reasonable options from Singapore.

FWIW, assuming North America, if it was west coast I would opt for Singapore-Philippines-Japan-PNW-final west coast destination. Timing would be critical, the window through the Philippines can be narrow, as can the Japan-PNW window.

If the US east coast I would probably opt for Singapore-Jakarta-Cape of Good Hope-final east coast destination (this route could actually be used for pretty much anywhere on the east coast of North or South America). A viable alternative would be Singapore-Med-Caribbean-final east coast destination. Strictly delivery I'd probably opt for south of Africa, cruising en-route I'd have to give both some consideration.

And, of course, Atoll's suggestion should be considered, that's a lot of time and miles to put on a boat if you're not enjoying them at the same time.

The OP hasn't come back, so perhaps it is all moot and a waste of our typing skills.

It’s a great opportunity to teach the kids something. Open a world map and look up Singapore in relation to America. Open Windy.com and look what the winds are doing. When is the hurricane season? How about ocean currents? It’s fun and good learning.
Have a great day.

Actually better to start with a globe before getting into the details.

Possible translation:

Sorry, guys. I didn't mean to waste your time.

I just might need to think up a really sneaky password, or it could happen again!
