    I recently purchased Nonsuch 30 #386 and brought it home to RCYC from Boston. I am planning to eventually sail the boat around Nfld and saw your comments about past voyage there. Would the Nonsuch be good for that trip? Lucky you purchasing NS1. I knew Commodore Fisher when he first brought the boat to the club (I was working summers at the yacht club) and my parents bought one of the first Nonsuch 26.

    My name is Ian and I am heading down to North Carolina this weekend to look at a couple of boats - one of them is a Bristol 45 that I think you sailed around the world. (I was googling about CPT autopilots and got onto a thread that you wrote about a Bristol 45...). It has Ainia on the propane tank in the picture.
    I was wondering if you could tell me anything about her?

    I did a 5 year circumnavigation on an Ericson 36C about ten years ago and am looking to get a bigger boat this time. I like that the cockpit seems to be a good size and I am happy to see a Monitor already at the back.
    I live in Toronto myself.

    Ahoy AiniA, My dock neighbor has just upgraded to a C&C 34+ and his C&C 29 MkII is sitting in Niagara on the Lake Sailing Club surplus. It is a Canadian registered really good boat for Ontario light vespers and has been well maintained. Maybe you ought to make a call before he gives it to a broker.....Eric Bartz 716 877 2677, your local Volvo maintenance shop. fdr
