It's particularly hard to see someone who always plays fair with others being messed about by those who love to score minor victories like this. Hate them, one and all. Pirates used to have an honour code of sorts.

Update.

Phil, Steve (crew) and I are having a few beers and catching up on all the posts over the last 24 hours.

After a few weeks at sea with Phil, Steve thinks the owners have a good case against Phil (NOT).

I imagine an affidavit from Steve could be useful in the future.
