Where to launch a 19' swing-keel sailboat in Tampa Bay?
I am trailering an O'Day 192 (19' with swing keel) and am looking to do a 3-day weekend cruise around Tampa Bay, I need a place to launch. The boat only draws 18" but my trailer doesn't have an extension so I need a moderately steep ramp. Fort Desoto looks like a good possibility, are their ramps deep enough to accomodate a boat like this? Any experience or advice for other good ramps in the area (which also allow overnight parking)?
