Re: Transgender and cruising?

transgender, LBGTIXYZ is totally overrepresented in the Austrian media. Wow big a percentage of the population do these topics concern? I guess somewhere in the 3rd decimal.
(I am talking about media like https://www.derstandard.at/story/200...der-verwirrung - THE quality daily Austrias)

the point I try to make:
why not keep to yourself, if you feel XYZ/Napoleon, sleep with XYZ/whom/whatever?
My lady wore headscarfs /long sleeves, loose pants,...in Arab countries, etc., so why not keep your LGBGTIXYZ to yourself too?
(The not-blending-in/rubbing-everybody's-nose-in-ones-otherness is reserved to all those Hijab/whatever-wearers hereabouts)

Sure, I think most of us are aggravated when someone tries to force something down our throats, but that didn't happen here....at least by the OP.

There are those who consider the mere existence of others to be forcing something down their throats. Such an environment is particularly dangerous, because discretion is no longer sufficient for safety. Control of unconscious gestures and habits also becomes life-critical.

OP is well-justified to seek out such details.

Those countries are rare , particularly if you do not advertise your differences.

Yes of course there are some extreme societies largely those in turmoil or just post war etc. visiting those countries in any form can be problematic and are even more problematic if you are “ different “ to the norm.

Anyone female who has been to Saudi Arabia for example will be entirely aware of the need to be seen as “ the same “.

This is not about these societies rights or wrongs merely answering the OP question about travelling to these types of places

As I said it’s necessary to subdue your personal predilections simply as a matter of personal safety. That’s all.

pirate Re: Transgender and cruising?

Seriously one needs to be 'aware' if one is different no matter which country one is in..
Queer bashing/killing is not country specific as the recent Colorado incident illustrated.
Just in some countries its more the norm as opposed to the exception.
Its little consolation if people get convicted after one's been beaten or stoned to death.

How would strangers know that you are transgender?
