Perry Polaris 43

New to forum. Let me know if I offend. Have been actively in the market for a Tayana 37 pilothouse for my wife and I to cruise. Run across a sales ad for a Perry Polaris 43 for sale in the Puget Sound. Does anyone out there have any information on this type of boat or this boat in particular? The name implies a Robert Perry design but I also read that she may be a Hans Christian copy. If sound, she looks perfect for us.

No, no and no. They seem a decent boat though Bob didn't much care for them. I looked at a new one way back when but have no more personal knowledge about them then you do.

I own a Polaris 43 and can answer any questions you may have. I have met and talked with Bob and he is over the whole not liking the Polaris 43 thing. Opinions mellow with age.

Hi there. I'm looking at buying a polaris 43. It's called Sunflower . This one has flush decks.. Do you think they are a strong great world cruising vessel. We want something that is safe, super strong in hull and keel, and reliable. The only other one available here is a tayana 52. They are both immaculate sailboats. We'd love to know what you think of the Polaris as in comparison to a Tayana 52. Are they built as strong and as good as the Tayana or vice versa. Kind regards.....Brenn boogsgroup@gmail.com
