Identifying boat

Hey there fellow sailors! There's this boat that we are looking to acquire. However, we're not able to identify the make and model. Maybe someone here can help us out? Click image for larger version

Re: Identifying boat

Hi Sweejason and welcome to the forum,

Perhaps someone may recognize the boat based just on the photo but in case not more information may help.

If you are trying to buy the boat what does the seller say?

Where in the world are you located or where is the boat located. This forum is global and location might help narrow down the possibilities.

Any details from the seller if he/she doesn't know the make. Year, length, draft, etc.

Re: Identifying boat

Agree looks to be a homemade Endeavor 37. That one looks rough, would give it a very serious look over. One thing is a poorly made boat, another thing is an old poorly made homemade boat. You can find those in old boat yards, in the back, in the field of broken dreams.

Yep... A Very Rough late '70's era Endurance 37 or 35. Very Rough!

Re: Identifying boat

Thank you everyone for your replies and warm welcome!

This boat will most likely be in auction soon, which is why we would like to find the model of it. Believe that it has been abandoned in the marina for the last few years (at least 5). Went down for a look last week and was very surprised that the cabin was all dry! There was another boat which was for sale, younger, but the cabin was flooded ankle deep!

She would need a good antifoul job because it looks like a sequel of the Great Barrier Reef under her. A new topcoat won't hurt either.

If we do get the boat, I'll post our progress here! Hahaha!
