Help with Key Largo Anchoring Dinghy Access

Hi Cruisers,


I am going to heading north from Marathon this Saturday and plan to land in Key Largo as a stop on our way north up the east coast. Does anyone know where I might be able to to anchor (Tarpon Basin looks great but reportedly has difficult dinghy access). If there are any cruisers that have dockage in the area I would be happy to pay just for dinghy access, but don't want to pay the $50/day daily use fee the local ramps charge. Any thoughts or suggestions?
