3 BR 3 Bath. Bvi charter

Gf n I currently on an NCL cruise on ship Encore two 7 day cruises. We're having a great time. I've got 5 more cruises booked/planned for this year. Because of covid our itineraries got all changed. But thankful our back to back cruises weren't canceled.

We really enjoy snorkeling. But haven't gotten much snorkeling in.

Gf n i discussing eventually buying a boat & using it as a charter. We're both 50 & planning to retire in 7 years. I would like to buy a boat & rent out 2 cabins & live in the other. I have been lucky having rented out rooms in my house & really enjoyed the people I've rented to.

The local yacht club has sailing classes this summer. I want both my gf n I to get our captains licenses. Neither of us has much sailing experience.

I was told go to bvi & rent a boat with a captain that will teach us how to sail so we could then rent a boat on our own. Investigating /planning to do this February 2023. Ballpark on how much this will cost for a week? Two weeks?

I have a 2.5 bath house which has really worked well having renters. Gf n I talking about $70k for a boat. Obviously less is better but we could put together more money if we started saving now. & i don't want to have to do a rehab. I would really like 3 bathrooms. One per couple.

Additionally we won't be dependent on the income from chartering, but the extra money would be nice.
