Fort Lauderdale to Abacos OR Nassau to Exumas

My husband and I are newly certified crew, looking to gain some experience in the out islands of the Bahamas, where we'd like to sail someday. Before we buy a boat, we'd like to charter with someone going either one of these routes: Fort Lauderdale to the Abacos, or Nassau to the Exumas. We'd go other places, too, such as from Georgetown to Staniel Cay (actually that's our preference, but it seems hard to find someone going that way. ) If you'd be willing to have us along, we would be willing to pay for our keep. We have the week of July 20 to ourselves (kids at camp!!), so please write if you're heading in one of those directions and would like some company.

Sounds good: I am always looking for crew, but uh, what is "Newly Certified Crew" ?

Many a-times I need crew for a short Florida to Bahamas trip, but short notice.
Which is the problem..Can you folks show up on short notice and can you help with reefing sails and doing dishes as well as oil/filter changes?
All on short notice?
If so, come on down to Fort Lauderdale and sail to the Bahamas on a well maintained and well equipped vessel: 1979 CSY 33 Cutter.
