Spain records surge in Covid cases among unvaccinated young people

Although more than a third of Spain’s 47 million people have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus, case numbers have been rising over recent days – most notably among younger people still waiting to get their shots.

On Wednesday evening, the number of cases per 100,000 people across Spain over the past fortnight stood at 117.7, up from 92.57 the previous week. However, the number of cases among those aged 12-19 was 287.8 per 100,00 – up 44 on the previous day – while the proportion among those aged 20-29 was 293.3 (up 42).

Then you are well aware. For the record, address and phone weren't published. But Fond du Lac is a small town (pop under 50,000), and my last name is uncommon, so I wasn't too hard to find.

It wasn't my own safety that concerned me much. I'm a hard-headed Welshman, and a blunt instrument. I've always had and attitude that while while you might beat me, I can hurt you and I will sue you, so call your Dr. and a lawyer. But when it expanded to my family? That was too much. And law enforcement wasn't much help at the beginning. We had to provide proof that we were harassed, and that my wife and daughters were essentially being staked. (Thank God for cell phone cameras!) The irony of the situation was the guy who was the root of it was a classic stereotype. Late 30's, lived with his mother, not in the basement - but in a ratty mobile home. Turns out he had other 'issues' as well and is currently a resident in a secure, state-run, facility.

Anyway, I get your point, but I'm not in total agreement that it would work everywhere.
