And, while it has been said by others, including me already, I feel the need to say it again - it's an open roadstead. No one would anchor a boat there except on the calmest of days, for lunch perhaps, certainly no sane person would anchor a boat there and go ashore! Which leads me to conclude the op is either fibbing, or is insane.
