Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

The cat is "papeetized": it can remain as long as wished in French Polynesia whatever the owner's nationality (foreign and French-mainland-registered boats can remain only a maximum of 24 months).

The price is negociable.

Curious, if the boat leaves PF for a couple of years will it lose the papeetization?

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia

Such a "papeetized" boat has a French flag and exactly the classical French documents.
It is just that it has been registered in Papeete...and paid taxes!

In 2008, with a boat registered in France-mainland, I was allowed only 1 year in French Polynesia.
Last year, I would have been allowed 3 years...and now only 2 years... maybe again 1 year in the future...

Not only Curious... Furious!!

I did not answer specifically: such a boat is "papeetized" forever... it is definively tahitian!

Forum rules dictate that the price has to be stated in all classifieds. Also what year is it?

Sorry, I assume that my post has been accepted just because it respected the rules.
And if I remember well, there is a specific mention indicating the price is not necessary.
Whatever the case, I did not see the possibility to specify that the price is "to be discussed", i.e. can be nogotiated.
In addition, I indicated both an url and an e-mail address that, seems to me, you could have used... and in which the price to be discussed is specified.
Last but not least, a price given alone is "non sense": as you can see in my doc (or should have known), price of any given boat/thing can double because of its equipment, state, etc.
So, it is intentionally that I do not specify the price: have a look at my doc and if you are interested, make an offer... you will see!
Regards, and sorry if my English is not clear enough.

Rules require a price for boats. Please include the price in a new post.

Whether or not it’s “ nonsense “ is irrelevant. The rules state you must specify a price.

Or remove the ad.

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia

Sorry, I did not notice the price was mandatory:
So, I would be happy to get 160 k€ but am ready to negotiate any price around this value for a boat built in 2006.
Please, could you specify whether I have something to do or not?
Thanks for your help.

Bonjour,Claude. I have added the price to your title, and it will appear in future posts. Everyone understands that prices are subject to negotiation.

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

Ann, many sincere thanks.

I did not want to be aggressive.

It is just that I wrote a very detailed document... in which, obviously, both the price and the year are specified... and gave an url in my post (is this allowed?).
I also gave my e-mail address somehow "coded" (is this allowed and needed... I have seen addresses specified as "gmail dot com"?).
Therefore, and even though all prices are obviously subject to negociation, I cannot understand that a person could just ask me the price and the year. How can one makes her/his decision with only these two parameters?

Anyway, I did not want to check by myself in posting a new thread and then deleting it "just to check" but am I right in thinking that there was a mention about a price not needing to be specified? And why not modifying your software, as done in many other websites?

Whatever the case, thanks for your help.

The pictures were nice, do you have an english translation to your document? I know that there are services on the internet that will provide translation services at reasonable prices.
