Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

Thanks for your compliments.
Since you read the doc, do you mean than the paragraphs in italics that are my own translation of my French text are not clear enough?

Anyway, I would be pleased to receive advices/corrections from anybody fluent in English. Reversely, I am ready to help fro translations to French. Please, look at:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YHQ...ew?usp=sharing

This being said, I now have a link to more numerous and full-quality photos at:

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

Sorry, I did not see here, on the website, the last part of your message that appears in my mailbox:
" Also, how much is 160kc in dollars or euro's? Is it 160,000 euro's"
I do not understand where you read "160 kc". The price in my thread has been added by Ann, moderator.
So, yes it is 160,000 euro's (common writing), or 160 k€ (scientific writing) ... or €160k as written by StanK above. What's the rule?

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

Ann,
Sorry if I disturb you again and if I do not correctly use the site but, seems to me, I have to problems:
1) one is that the info on the upper right (the hour and Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 11) do not change... and might be the old one.
2) the other is that the summary at the end of the page is also the old one.
In case you cannot update and merge the two series of threads, do not hesitate to delete the old one.

The pics in your Google album will only be visible to those of us who join Google. I'm not a member so I can't see them. You can put them up here though. More is better!

Perhaps this will help. Non-google members can access this link from post #16.

We can't see the other link unless we sign up.

Nice boat, if it were in Ft Lauderdale you'd get that price easily. Apparently FP is starting to impose some strict regulations on cruising boats so the fact that you can stay legally indefinitely should work to your advantage. If the boat should leave FP for an extended period. would you lose your status?

Re: Catamaran Lagoon 380S2 in French Polynesia, 160k Euros

The boat is "papeetized" ... ad vitam aeternam ... and its documents are exactly i) French ones and ii) similar to those of all boats built in FP. For sure, you can go anywhere round the world and come back in decades if wished so. But I essentially think this cat offers an opportunity for any person, be it F or not, to either make a break or enjoy a longer stay in the most magnificient place where to stay and sail (for friends: I sailed at ~25 nm from the "inhospitable" -at the time- Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai and some anchorages I visited no more exist...you need some luck in life!).

SPECIAL QUESTION: Is there any link where to read posts from cruisers having been there (I saw some impressive videos)?
