I saw a video that showed the "pool" in the Kursk... It was looked kinda dirty to me and it needed some . I don't think you missed much.

I would be thinking that if there is any way to beach her (might have to dig a slot for the keel) then that must be the safest. Once beached you can strap her down with some variation of tent pegs (huge ones obviously).
