My fancy dual SIM cell booster (Cradlepoint, if you're interested) has 4 small coax cables along with the power wires, passing through a 3/4 inch hole in the coaming.

The latest rains here in the PNW revealed that my pathetic attempt at sealing it didn't work.

Before I start buying and trying parts and solutions, any advice?

To make a gooseneck: Heat enough play sand (Home Depot) to fill the pvc pipe in a pot on the stove untill too hot to hold. Tape off one end of the pvc pipe & funnel hot sand into pipe & tape end. When pipe gets soft form 180 by wrapping around a metal pipe. Cool with water & when pvc hardens, pull off tape & empmty sand.

Call Kato Davit or go online. They already have the pipe for that application.

Re: How can I waterproof a wire bundle passing through the deck?

I have a leaking penetration like the OP and bought an osculati stainless gooseneck based on what I saw in this thread. Wow! It's really nice.

I have much more faith in this simple design than anything using any sort of upward facing seal.

I plan to use the cable gland on the cabin interior to give the installation a finished look and eliminate the access for any insects.

I looked but couldn't find any similar gooseneck in north america. Ebay had quite a few in europe. The best deal I found was from a seller in Latvia, less than US$30 and shipped for ten bucks.
