Actually, you might want to check with your neighborhood golf pro, or look up the nearest golf car leasing and sales company. These folks use GOLF CAR batteries the most, after all!!!

Interstate Batteries have outlets in New York. I had a pair of Interstate GC batteries that lasted about 7 years.

That said, I replaced them with Dyno D145 GC batteries that lasted 15 years (Dyno Battery - Premium Quality Battery Manufacturing - Made in the USA ) They were still working (albeit not holding a charge for very long) when I replaced them with the same model in August 2020. They appear to be very well made.

I don't know if Dyno products are available in New York, but there may be a similar, reputable local manufacturer of GC batteries that deserves consideration.

I bought mine from a Golf Cart distributor in Ft Lauderdale, JEFFREY ALLEN . Which is a chain for golf carts and parts.. Still going strong since January 2016

I bought GCs from a Sam's Club in Watertown, NY and they were way cheaper than anywhere else with 100 miles, even the Walmart next door.

I batteries in have had Duracell (got them at a Battery Plus) branded and Trojan (got at a NAPA) GC2 batteries in the past. Far as I am concerned all GC2 are pretty much the same and good because the golf cart market is just so big to force that. Given that any small difference between GC2 batteries is quickly wiped out by the care and attention given them by the owner, and the low price, I wouldn't spend a lot of time running around trying to save $10/battery on one.

But if I needed new GC2 batteries and it wasn't a lot of trouble to get I think I would try US Battery brand.

Not to start the whole battery thing, but I stay with higher quality batteries. Because of shipping costs, Trojan is more expensive in the northeast than Rolls. Midstate Battery in Bloomfield Ct is the closest Rolls dealer. Rae battery in Berlin Ct used to be the Rolls dealer, but they also used to have a good house brand. In 35 years,I am on my third set of Rolls batteries, a pretty good record of longevity I think. I stay with battery suppliers, not chain stores so you can get service. Previous set of Rolls weren’t charging correctly. Rae battery took them and desulfated them, on there extensive equipment, and they lasted another several years.

NAPA is an easy bet; that was the got to in Marathon, FL with delivery. We had US Battery and they were fine. The biggest difference with GC2s seems to be the warranty.
