I use a Duo Charge to charge my starter
battery from the house bank. Currently have it programmed to 'Gel' since the starter
battery is a gel. Seems to
work OK but I am about to change the starter battery to an
AGM and may want to modify the 'lower' and 'upper' voltage limits.
Problem is that these terms are never defined in the manual. My assumption is that the starter battery is charged when the house battery is above the 'lower' voltage AND the starter battery is below the 'upper' voltage. Otherwise the
charger shuts down and isolates the starter battery from the house battery.
Am I correct? Does anyone know for sure?
