Mahe 36: replacing steering cable and hub

Has anyone replaced their steering cable and hub on their Mahe?
I am looking for a US source for the cable (and maybe the hub) and any helpful hints on replacing the cable
I have read the post by "Grumpy G" from May 2019 so have been trying to source a 5m D0290 cable

RGARY: I’m wondering if you got this resolved. I didn’t see where anyone had answered you. I’m in the process of replacing my cable. 16 or 17 feet will work. My unit works fine but there is some wear wobble at the helm so I’m replacing the whole unit. These units are all over Amazon.
