Re: Watchdog Plugin

Try to find watchdog in this screenshot.
With this version, the initial interface has changed.
You have to right click on the watchdog window to add instruments.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Also, for V5.0 please use the watchdog plugin for v5.0 on the plugin downloads page.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Thank you.

I resolved my issues with upgrade and Plugins!
I notice that my tablet has two display adapters. And both Intel(R) HD Graphics 520 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M were enabled. Once I disabled Intel adapter,OpenCPN and Plugins started to work fine! I am still checking to make sure other application programs are working fine with this new configuration.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Salty, Mine just has Intel HD, did not know Surface Pro could have two display adapters.

My Inspiron XPS has an old Geforce Nvidia 2nd display and they have display software called physics that allows you to chose which display to use by program etc. which works fine with OpenCPN and was very useful because the onboard Intel HD Display 3000 was slower and did not have fully developed opengl.

I am glad you got that figured out and reported it, as that helps everyone. I never would have considered it as a possibility.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Does your Intel HD Display adapter supports OpenGL?
In your opencpn.ini is OpenGLS=1 or 0
Thank you

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Short answer, yes. It is an Intel HD Graphics 4400, and is newer than my Intel HD 3000 in the laptop. It has 100% support of OpenGL from 3..0 to v4.3

Try GLviewer Opengl Extensions Viewer

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Sean's Watchdog v2.4.15.0 is now on the Plugin Manager 'master' catalog for 13 environments.

It is available for Mac OS. I use it all the time. It is currently in version 2.4.17.0 in the new Beta for O5.2.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Skipperearly,
look at Sean's repository. The more recent changes are to build for Android. I think that he has it working for android, and the build looks to me like it would be a good guide for adding another environment to Plugin Manager. I believe Circleci will support android builds as well.

If you can build it successfully, please let us know.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Is there anyways to have latitude and longitude format in Anchor Alarm to follow setting in OpenCPN display option?

I always have the Anchor position on my chart plotter and entering that position manually in Anchor Alarm would be easier.
Thank you.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

Lat/long format is independent for plugins as are most units.

Re: Watchdog Plugin

It would be very helpful to have an option within the Anchor Alarm to set the format for Lat & Long.
Thanks
