Hint #6 : What kind of list can I get from the Tracker Global Screen ?

For each project; Tracker display a Global Screen with a line composed by several columns, each column title can be select and sorted (ascendant / descendant).

For example :
the Global Screen "All Projects" displays this list :
ID Project Task Type Operating System Severity Summary Opened Votes OpenBy

If you want the list sorted :

by Numerotation; you must click on the "ID field" column title

or by request related to (OpenCPN, Plugins...); click on "Project"
or by features / bug / ... : click on "Task Type"
or by Windows / Linux / Mac : click on "Operating System"
or by High / Medium / Low / ... : click on "Severity"
or by Short description : click on "Summary"
or by Deposit date : click on "Opened"
or by Most wanted features : click on "Votes"
or by Depositor : click on "OpenBy"

Note : lines in bold are the more frequently used.

Hello,

Tracker/Flyspray : Only for OpenCPN 3.3 Beta Version, a new Task Type option have been introduced; now when creating a request you will be able to choose between "Bug Report" and "Backwards".

I am absolutely amazed that users are not voting more, and that some of the flyspray requests have not made it up to the top. Either there are complacent users out there or everyone is very happy with the program and the interface, or they don't use the program that much!

Of course I am very happy that the vector chart search request is at the top because that was one of my original requests....but I think there are other things that are more important even if that would be very useful.

Serge, may I suggest a new VOTE - We want you! Discussion thread, or something like that where users say what they think would be the most important improvement? or even discuss big picture items.

Right now I would like more people BETA Testing so we can release the next version. That would take my vote, but long term I like Sean's idea of a user created shortcut and macro plugin that uses TCP.... that would take my vote long term.

---Also we need help keeping Tracker cleaned up, so all USERS should help with this by following their requests and closing them when they are taken care of.

Rick is right, there is too much requests with no votes.

Just have a look on the "OpenCPN - Features Requests" stream , 132 requests are in the portfolio; on these 132 demands, only 32 have 2 or more votes (<25%).
