TRACKER/FLYSPRAY: When and How to use it

Code and patches are always welcome. I'm sorry nobody has reacted on your feature request.
As you have code to contribute, and don't just ask for someone else to do something, the best thing to do is to issue a pull request to https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN with your suggested changes. More about pull requests at https://help.github.com/articles/using-pull-requests.

Thanks for that: I'll look at it in the next week. My (quite small) patch compiles cleanly on Linux, and should compile cleanly on Mac. I don't have a windows dev environment but from some research on technet the additions should work on windows but the header files required for different windows versions may need altering. Presumably though not all your contributors have all platforms available so it's not too rude hoping someone can help a newbie contributor in that respect?

What kind of list can I get from the Tracker/Flyspray ?
For each project; Tracker/Flyspray display a screen with a line composed by several columns, each column title can be select and sorted (ascendant / descendant).

What kind of list can I get from the Tracker Global Screen "All projects" ?
The Global Screen "All Projects" displays this list :
ID Project Task Type Operating System SeveritySummaryOpenedVotes OpenBy

If you want the list sorted :

by Numerotation; you must click on the "ID field" column title
or by request related to (OpenCPN, Plugins...); click on "Project"
or by features / bug / ... : click on "Task Type"
or by Windows / Linux / Mac : click on "Operating System"
or by High / Medium / Low / ... : click on "Severity"
or by Short description : click on "Summary"
or by Deposit date : click on "Opened"
or by Most wanted features : click on "Votes"
or by Depositor : click on "OpenBy" => could be used to retrieve your own request

Note : lines in bold are the more frequently used.
