Timed Radar Transmit & Guard Zones

We like to use the timed radar transmit while underway at night. Additionally, we use the guard zones to provide an alarm.

We've noticed that every time the radar is turned on for the timed transmit, we get the guard zone alarm even though there is nothing there.

We're using a B&G 4g radar with everything connected through Ethernet.

Has anyone else seen this issue or know of a solution?

I can't reproduce that a timed transmit "wake up" generally will create an alarm.
But it can depend on the guard zone settings.
If the guard zone's inner limit is to close to center there will be blobs. Probably more at a transmit start.
Also if the gain is set to high (not in auto?) there will be echoes from e.g. waves also probably more at start up until stabilized. Even a very small and short echo will trigger the alarm.
The sea state setting may also have an impact.
