Running Open CPN from a flash drive odd issue

I decided to try and run OPenCPN off a flash drive on my senile tablet computer (windows 10 acer one10) with a relatively small drive. The goal was to be able to free up drive space and leave the flash drive on the boat for when it was needed. Using the GPS puck I bought at Goodwill, it seems to be working fine. So I made another copy to keep as a back up at home. I tried putting the flash drive on my windows 10 desk top and got the charts working and the program responding OK without GPS as I did not have the puck, but can't find the routes I had set up on the flash drive? Took the flash drive back to the tablet and the routes were there? Am I missing something?

Routes and marks are stored in the file "navobj.xml" saved where the log file reside.

See "Toolbar" - "About OpenCPN", the ?-icon, to locate your log file.
