RNC charts overlaid on ENC charts

With quilting turned OFF, when I select a RNC kap chart overlay, the background ENC (CM93) chart blanks out and shows a basic RNC outline, but I can select individual RNC charts within a group.

With quilting turned ON, when I select a RNC kap chart overlay, the background ENC (CM93) chart is still shown, but I can only select the first RNC charts within a group.

Is there a config setting to rectify this?
If not, is there a parameter in the RNC kap chart header that will make each RNC chart unique so all the charts can be selected and displayed with quilting turned ON?

Re: RNC charts overlaid on ENC charts

From a previous recent post (use search) Thomas (cagney) suggested and showed how a very small change in scale would order the kAps by time. Maybe something from that thread will help. Go find it.

I did try that, and it didn't.
PS I can order the kaps by putting each one in its own directory [01xxx] [02xxx] etc but that doesn't resolve the issue of non select-ability with quilting on.

Are you sure that the kaps really do have different scales?
Notepad++. The header of the files.
This should work.

Yes, used Notepad++ and bsbfix but still only the first chart in the group was displayable with quilting on.
Solved the ordering issue by putting -6xxx in [01xxx], HWxxx in [07xxx] and +6 in [13xxx] folders which works well, as I can put all the -6's for different areas in one folder and all the +6's in another.
But that isn't anything to do with the current issue I'm trying to get my head around - making each RNC chart unique so all the charts can be selected and displayed with quilting turned ON like wot they are with quilting off.
Maybe it's a 'feature' in OCPN that it can't be done and I'm wasting my time trying, if someone could put me right, it would be great.

You are posting the same in two places. Cagney confirms changing the scale slightly with notepad++ solves the problem. Can you page through using ctrl+ left/right arrow keys?
Have you downloaded 2-3 Pilot Charts and tested those and then inspected with notepad++.?

Finally, what is the feature improvement you'd like?
Post it in tracker and don't forget to vote for it. There are almost 20 vetted features ahead of this.
