RASPI OCPN - Bar not movable

Fresh installation of OCPN 5.8.4-3 in Raspi Bookworn 64.

after been fighting & crying yesterday because of Linux, you know permission, not clear where the files are, etc. (you know windows user)

with your guidance I've been able to setup OCPN.

when installed yesterday via flatpack just on opening the setting and trying to give the path for the charts, the program just quit.

uninstalled OCPN & flatpack and installed direct.

now is working need some tweaks but annoying thing is that the scale bar is in the middle of the screen, and I cannot move it.

could it be relocated?

Also not able to exchange the language of the app.

I set to Spanish but there is no change at all.

where is supposed to be stored the .mo file in the system (Raspi Debian)?

Hi Hakan & Nohal,

I read the URL extremely fast, and I didn't find the way, now in a double check I found it and exchanged the Raspi-config to work as X11, the display is correct now.

About the language, not able to setup the Spanish, I've tried to exchange to several languages and not exchanged, always shown in English.

Where is located the folder for the language files for OCPN in Rasbberry??

About the language, not able to setup the Spanish,

I'm using current master code on a RPi4 and Rpi5 and I can confirm your report.
It's not able to change language on these system.
I'll create an issue on Github (#3747)

I am having the same issue with flatpak opencpon installation. the chart bar is located in the center of the screen. I tried the workaround from wayland to x11 but when I reboot the screen is grey. I can undo via raspi config over ssh but this just puts me back where i started.

any thoughts?

pi 5, latest OS. headless config. Current open plotter 4 wont write to sd card via pi imager and OP3 doesn't work over VNC.

I don't know if you solved this. My previous answer was to quick due to my short memory.
The (Linux)system needs to have the desired language(s) installed to be able to use them in OCPN.
On RPi - open sudo raspi-config. Select localization-language. Scroll the list and select those you want. Remember to use one with UTF-8. (Select->space key)

perfect, I followed your instructions and now system and OCPN are shown in Spanish (selected es_ES.UTF-8).

I was confused because I select the language in:
Preferences - Raspberry setup - Localisation but there was not any exchange.

now doing with raspi-config and after reboot all are in Spanish, also I removed the en_GB by default.

another curious thing found in Raspi version of OCPN:
XDR sentence show the pressure in the Dashboard.
windows version doesn't, I have to convert with NMEAConvert plugin.
