Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Dave,
tried the latest version on my RPI and on my Linux Mint 64. Works very well.
The only thing I find difficult is opening the tidal graph. The spot to open the graph is difficult to find on the tidal bar. I have to click several times before I hit the right place.
Thanks for the efforts to make this open project possible.
Regards,
Bram

Are you using a keyboard with a menu key ? IMO opening the tide graph when the cursor is on the tide gauge is easier with it.
Dave, you haven't updated oesenc git, thanks.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Dave,
Other test (with my Lenovo W 10)
With Swedish raster maps from Soltek. See the three screenshots.
First copy: Everything seems normal.
Second copy: I just realized a "Zoom -". The lower part does not display charts nicely. But it remains "correct".
Third copy: I moved the map area with the mouse. Then, the display of charts is not correct.
I try with level -1,0,2 in options/display/.../rasters slider. Same problem in each case.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Dave,
I also installed O4626 on my old ASUS PC under Linux. With the same charts, I have the same result as screenshot 1 and 2 (my previous post). But if I move the area of map, the display remains correct. That is to say I do not see any display fault.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Highlighting selected marks is now ok for under W8.1
Draw-plug-in icons (plug-in latest version from download page) show up as defaults, not the original icons.

Hello,
For me, no problem with draw icons, nor with my Lenovo, under W10, nor with my ASUS, under Linux ubuntu.

Dave,
I install O4626 on our tablet Microsoft Surface, under W10. All is Ok.
I use it with the suedish raster charts of soltek. I do not see the same problem that with my Lenovo when 0 change th map area with my finger.

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Gille....
On Win10, dated HP and Lenovo.
For the same area and the same charts in Vänern I don't see exactly the same as you but sometimes something a like. The charts at that location is a mix between old and never files. Some are transverse Mercator, some Mercator and I think one Gauss is involved as well? I think we've to be happy for the quilt we can get?
Happy journey at the lake Vänern.

bcn...
No problem with draw_pi icons here. Check the plugin data location to be sure the .svg files are available. Pix attached

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
Hi Dave,
The BR24 team has been testing the ARPA functionality over summer (well, summer, at least there was daylight, but I think all three of us had lots of rain and gloom here in NW Europe) and we're satisfied with the functionality so we can now focus on getting it ready for general use. We'd like to release a beta somewhere within the coming weeks.
This will work fine for Linux and MacOS, but for Windows we need pull request 869.
Can you take a look and consider this for 4.8 please? We know the timing is not great (cruising got in the way of paying attention to the forum). If not, when do you expect the next release cycle? An alternative would be that we would provide a 4.8+ binary version of O itself. To help in fault analysis with people downloading the standard 4.8 version that won't work we'd then like to use a different version number. Maybe 4.8.2400 or something like that which indicates it's got the BR24 specific commit?

Re: OpenCPN Beta Version 4.6.26 Release Candidate
For informations to any who were using :- UserIcons for having different ship size this does not work in 4.6.26 you will not be able to see properties.
Remove the UserIcons and it is all OK in Windows 10. Could for the future this be back in operation? It will certainly be appreciated.
Regards
