Opencpn 3.0.2 gshhs not working

A friend and I are trying to install Opencpn 3.0.2 gshhs background and can't seem to get it working. Do we need to move into a Beta version or is there something we are missing in the install? We uncompressed c:\programfiles(x86)\opencpn\gshhs directory and opened the program and closed it several times. There does not appear to be any need to direcct a path. Sorrry but I've forgotten details for this install.

3.0.2 does not support gshhs.
3.2.0 will be the first official release to do so.

The Beta 3.1.1224 is in pretty good shape. Give that a try
And there will be Beta 3.1.1309 sometime tomorrow ....
