Can you try OD from the alpha repository? You will need to download the latest tar file for your mac, probably 1.8.14.5 from
https://cloudsmith.io/~opencpn/repos....14.*darw*tar*
You will also need to have 'CatalogExpert=1' in the '[Plugins]' section of the opencpn.conf file to allow you to install the file.

Tried this and it crashed OpenCPN when in installed it. Relaunched and it stabilized, but still crashed on exit, as before.

Downgraded to 1.8.13.2 and everything works fine.

There is a new version of OD, 1.8.15.3, in the alpha repository. Can you please test this version and see if it fixes the issue.

Remind me how to do it, now, once downloaded the ".exe" to make it known by openCPN and see it in the plugin manager.

I succeeded by looking for this version 15.3 in the Alpha catalog.

I quickly tested the creation of all the tools. Everything seems to be ok. In the "Options/Plugins" of OpenCPN, by selecting the Draw line, I have a problem with the "Preferences" button. It opens, slowly, the window but it is small and I cannot enlarge it using the PC mouse. See screenshot.

That said, Draw's toolbar remains small and, for example, the "pencil" remains difficult to see. See screenshot.

On the other hand, I tried to uninstall Draw with the "Uninstall" button. I had an OpenCPN crash. I relaunched OpenCPN and saw in the manager that Draw had not been uninstalled. This time the "Uninstall draw" button worked without crashes...????

Yes, fixed. No crash in 1.8.15.3. Tried 1.8.15.4 and the crash is back.

Scratch that. Issue seemed fixed, but has resurfaced after relaunching the app a couple times. Is now persistant again.

After last upgrade I am not seeing any of my marine zones and tried creating a new zone with pencil.

No line showed whilst drawing, pencil moves as expected, changes direction point to point, right click off all good, I just don't see the line created.

I can see the message box if I hover over a boundary point or line.
Properties display as expected so they are there they just don't display.
Only noticed on upgrade to O 5.6.2
Plugins master updated, Draw running 1.8.1.2

I am trying to add Ocpn_draw to OpenCPN 4.8.4 but the plugin does not appear under the Options->plugin menu after installation. The data directory and the .dll is present under the plugins directory.

I tried to install the watchdog pi and it works as expected. I.e. it is present under Options->plugn and you are able to Enable it.

I trying to install ocpn_draw_pi-1.5.22-win32.exe
OS is Windows 10

That is far to old a version to work with PIM. You should update to 5.6.2 now, or at least 5.6.0 but that is not ideal.
We are not supporting OpenCPN 4.8.4 at present.

Do your marine zones still exist in layers? You'd best check and if not, copy your backup into the right location.

Well, any 5.x.x hangs/freezes when running weather routing so I really need to use 4.x.x as I am helping two boats with weather info. The 5.6.0 is useless for doing weather routing. ¨

Hasse, why not put this under the weather routing thread? I can't be expected to remember every detail of every user for many plugins.

Marine zones master database is safe.

I only had 1 computer where the draw function failed and it has started working again with latest updates Ubuntu and or "O".
