New install

Hello, I installed OpenCPN from the latest download. It does not show a bar on top just a basic chart. Nothing on the left. Popup on the right but nothing to download any charts. I have used this before on a different computer and I have a bar along the top for different options.

Thanks, Dan

Newly installed unconfigured OpenCPN looks like the attached, which of that is there not for you and what operating system are you using?

It looks just like that. where is the chart downloader? There should be a bar going across the top. Windows 11

Re: New install

Chart downloader is in the Toolbox (The wheel icon in the toolbar on the left) on the Charts tab
The permanent display of menu bar can be enabled in the same Toolbox, on the User interface tab (otherwise it is shown after you press the Alt key to save the screen estate for chart display)
