mac book and gps conection

hi to all, from my phone with gps2ip program and airdrop i would like to see my boat position in my mac.
any clue how to do this ?

Not a good idea. The battery of the iPhone will be empty before you arrive at the next harbour. I have tested that.
Better buy a Bluetooth GPS for your MacBook like the Dual Skypro XGPS160.
