Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Zork,

i compared the files and there's a huge difference as you can see in
the attachments. open as doc first and compare the files in OO then rename doc to xml and see what happens.
only your text is displyed in MS-Explorer with the wrong file.

i think i depends on the header, correct is xmlns:tableooo="http://openoffice.org/2009/table" xmlns:field="urn:
openoffice:names:experimental"oo-ms-interop:xmlns:field:1.0"
but OO on PIII stores
xmlns:rpt="http://openoffice.org/2005/report" xmlns:f="urn:asis:names:tc:endocument:xmlns:f:1.2"

but this is only a guess.

my input routine simply copies 1:1 to the output and replaces the
placeholders with text. if it's a header-line only i can replace it, but
when i have to change to whole document, i don't write a function for
that.

if you can change the images at home and copy it to you PIII it's
a workaround.

please let me know when this works for you.

best regards,
konni

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Sorry Konni, but your workaround doesn't work.
What i did :
- on the home PC
. Edit Label_Boat and Equip.
. Delete Catalina image and change fonts
. Save on a myfile name file
. verify that i can view it = OK
. copy myfile from Data\ODTlayouts\boat on a USB key
- on the boat PC
. copy myfile to the Data\ODTlayouts\boat directory
. open logbook in OCPN
. click R
. choose myfile
. click view
. get the OO open error !!!

Regards
Zorg

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello Zorg,

in the end i found the bug, uff.

the frensh translation uses CR/LF in the label. i didn't convert them
to <text:line-break/> and the ampersand in text owner to &.

now i'm able to read your boat-file with picture. I don't want to post a
image because it's too private.
i send you the file if you give me your address, the corrected logbook-plugin also (but later).
my address is konnibe()web.de (replace () with @)

best regards,
konni

Preliminary Dutch language file for Logbook Konni. It contains one error, which I haven't found (no \n on both msgstr and msgid somewhere).

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Improved Dutch language files for Logbook Konni are attached. Accidentally I used the wrong file to start with, so the origal one error (no \n at both msstrg and msgid) is still there. Sorry for that, Konni.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Konni,
The Overview page of the logbook contains two terms that are not present in the language files: "Current from" and "Wind from".
I assume these represent the current and wind directions. If that is correct, than the term "Current from" is wrong. Contrary to the wind direction, current direction is always expressed as the direction to which the current moves.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello NAV, Gilletarom, Zorg,

i've uploaded 0.917.
Zorg, can you please check if the odt-files are correct now ?

Nav, i correct this, too - see attachted image

Gilletarom, the pot-file is updated.

when you rightclick in logbook 'remarks' a new menu-entry appears.
it's not finished now, the load/save-routines are not implemented.
my future plan is, e.g. to add a text block automatically when a waypoint
is arrived.

best regards,
konni
