Suggest you read the manual. I believe it will import and export files, not sure what types. Not where I can provide a link. Just find the manual.

Hi All,

I have read through the manuals about customising logbook, but I haven't found anything that shows me how to add true wind direction (TWD) to the log. I get it in dashboard so I can see that it is available but would really like to be logging it.

Any suggestions'

Thats going to have to be a plugin commit I think. Logbook is a very old plugin which has been updated a lot. Alec and Mike have improved it significantly with the addition of the ShipDriver SD Template and reworking some of the very old code.


Peter Tulip maintained this plugin and several others for a number of years. He would make changes, adding features that users requested. I have found one of the commits he made to display windspeed on June 14, 2018

Fixed window resizing, Display windspeed
- Fixed Edit layout window resizing. - Added the option to display the windspeed in different speed than given by the sensor. - The logbook file will be saved on every added line FS#2337
