It's about making ALL dialog boxes remember their size, shape, position, columns, sort orders, etc. If you'd like to go there & vote for it (&/or add a comment), that will give it more chance of being fixed sooner, as it currently has only a very low priority.

Feature Request:

In the Route & Mark Manager, it would be EXTREMELY useful if there was a simple Check Box to make all [routes/tracks/waypoints] visible, click it again to make them all not visible. I have hundreds of waypoints and sometimes I want to see them all, other times only a small handful. Tedious is not even the word - it's not possible.

I strongly agree with this request. I have the areas with so many and nearly overlapping. Also I keep individual GPX backups just in case. All in all Route Manager also needs some major improvements.

That's actually not it although those would be moderately helpful also.

How do I add User Stories to the tracker? Man do I have some.

For one wolf. Wishful thinking, Open CPN is the navigation tool. Not for gathering stories. If you want to add some notes then add to your WP points to be stored within GPX. I have many from Arctic.

Yes, I also find it a pain to check them individually.

May i join in and support this request as well... ie select all or none for hide/show waypoints, marks, tracks, routes.

For those looking for a global “hide marks/tracks” I have a question. Why are layers not able to solve this problem? Layers are the designed solution to the problem. So what doesn’t work in layers?

Actually, i see that in principle that should help with this issue. I have not used this neat function but will try now. Thanks for the reminder.

The Layers feature does not address my use case. It is not a fixed subset of waypoints/routes/tracks that I want visible/not-visible - it is dynamic and always changing.
