Zigbee2MQTT water sensor

Hi All,

on my boat i have a rasp pi 5, a zigbee2MQTT, mosquitto, etc.
i am connecting an aqara water leak sensor SJCGQ11LM.
I pair it, and it works as expected.

Question 1: when i turn off the pi and turn it back on i can still see the connection, but the sensor does not seem to respond. i have to reset it and re-pair it every time. is this normal?

Question 2: if this is normal, are there water sensors that do not loose their pairing even after the Rasp Pi is reset?
