marine headset (bluetooth) for communication

Any recommended marine headset for communication on the deck?
Bluetooth may be good. There are so many choices and no idea how to choose.

Get ones that are full duplex so that there is no transmit button to press and you won’t cut each other off.
Ours are Simultalk, although we pretty much never use them, not worth the hassle of getting them out and putting them on.
I don’t think Bluetooth will have the range necessary

Re: marine headset (bluetooth) for communication

Bluetooth comes in various "categories" and levels. The common stuff used in cell phones and office equipment has an "up to" 10 meter range. The next step up is a range of 100 meters, which pretty much will covers the definition of "boat" for most of us.(G)

Of course, export-grade blister packed crap will rarely have the 100 meter range.
