B&G WS320 into Simrad Go7 XSE, correct wind speed?

I recently installed a wireless wind transducer and connected it to a NMEA2000 network that has a Simrad Go7 XSE as the only other device. The wind speed and direction from the WS320 appears (in knots) on the Simrad. I've never had a wind speed sensor before, and when looking at the speeds I'm a bit shocked that it shows 10 knots of wind when I feel there is very little wind. I would have thought 6 or maybe 7 knots. However, as I wrote I never had a wind speed measurement before, so maybe 10 knots is less than I thought. Is there any way the WS320 speed could be off, when showing on the Simrad? Or should I simply learn to trust what I see?
