Re: Simple Pleasures: Fire on the Beach.

She asked me to meet her at the beach. I asked "What's in it for me?" She replied "sand."

Our books have gotten 5 star reviews on Amazon. Several readers have written "I never thought I would go on a circumnavigation, but when I read these books, I was right there in the cockpit with Vinni and Carsten"

The beach has never been one of my favourite places. I do however like airconditioned restaurants overlooking the beach.....

It wasnt romantic but the memory lingers.

Wow!

I'm not superstitious, but I would definitely take that as some sort of sign!

Agreed! A bonfire and a little something to sip while tending to it is always relaxing!

We always carry the ingredients for Smores with us in case anyone brings kids. They love to make them, keeps them occupied and there always seems to be one really young one that needs a little help keeping her marshmallows from burning or falling off the skewer. Good times!
