Dear Philippe,
Just to clarify the first point: in QTVLM I can select the .POL and open it. I am then back on the 'polar' screen, but my polar is not selected and not visible in the dropdown list. Here is a link to the .pol I'm using:

I agree there is a problem with the second tip, I will try to fix that.

But the first tip (boat parameters->polar->import) works here on Android 13 or 14 and I cannot imagine a reason for not working for you. Can you describe/send screenshots of what you see ?

The third tip: did you install Files from Google Store ? Just using the regular "Files" coming with Android is not enough

Below are three screenshots of QTVLM boat >polar>import. I can select the polar from the selection screen, but then I just return to the import screen, and the file has not been added. In Windows this does work, I can see 'my' polar selected in the dropdown. But not in Android.

And Tip 3: indeed I installed 'Files by Google' from the Google store, it's indeed a different app than the built-in 'files' app.

Normally with Files from the store you should be able to access /Android/data/etc. and copy your polar directly.
Here the import button is working so I don't understand. Can you please send your pol file to support@meltemus.com ? If nothing works I will but it on our polar server and then you can install it from there.

After sending my pol file to Philippe, it quickly became clear that the issue was that the file extension of my file was .POL in uppercase. After I converted the extension to .pol in lowercase, the polar imported perfectly.

Issue solved, @maitai thank you very much for your help!
