Keeping CF pleasant

The current lockdown of the joke thread prompted this - I've seen a few discussions of lack of civility on CF and would like to share my trick for dealing with it.

There's an option you can click to ignore posts from a given user. Try it, you might like it.

There are currently only two people on my ignore list, and a third is now a candidate. These are people who make multiple posts that I find annoying for some reason AND who provide me with no useful sailing / cruising information.

It took time before I did this because I was afraid I would be blocking too many people, but that isn't the case. And my experience on CF is more pleasant since I started doing it.
